Hyatt Regency Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina

We got from the hotel parking lot to Meridian Mark Hospital’s lot in just 6 minutes, so the location was worth every penny. My 4-year-old daughter had eye surgery today, and we needed to be at the hospital by 6:00AM. Since home is almost an hour and a half away, we wanted a decent, reasonably priced room close by. I booked a non-smoking room with 2 queen beds online for same-day arrival on the 15th, with a late check-in set for 10:30PM and checkout at 5:30AM on the 16th, just 7 hours later. It came to $210, including parking and a refundable $50 deposit. The room, beds, and bathroom were clean and nice, but the beds were uncomfortably loud. We could hear our daughter rolling around on the other bed all night, and I swear even her pinky finger moving on those sheets was audible.

Everyone at the front desk was helpful and communicated clearly and promptly. The rooms were cleaned every day, no complaints there. Mr. Keith, the shuttle driver, was such a bright spot on my trip. He went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe, comfortable, and looked after. I appreciate it, OG! This may become my go-to when I visit Atlanta. Thanks, Hyatt Regency!!!

I’m checking into another hotel this evening. This was the worst Hyatt experience I’ve ever had, and it’s made me seriously rethink staying at Hyatt properties. I booked an Executive Suite expecting something reasonable for the Hyatt name, but the room was revolting and I didn’t feel safe or comfortable sleeping there. There was pubic hair across the floors, boogers smeared on the nightstand, visible human intimacy stains around the room, and peeling ceiling paint with what looked like black mold. The property is in very poor condition, and the room was subpar at best. I even showered in my workout shoes because it felt so dirty. I contacted World of Hyatt to ask for my points back so I could move to another Hyatt, but was told no. Checking out early wouldn’t get the points returned either, leaving me paying for something I consider neither sanitary nor safe. The check-in experience fit the room: the man at the desk wore a T-shirt and True Religion hoodie, so it was hard to tell if he worked there, and he seemed completely unprofessional. This feels like a one-star hotel, more like a Red Roof Inn or Howard Johnson than a Hyatt Regency. I don’t recommend it at all and actively discourage people from staying. Do not stay here.

CUSTOMER BEWARE!! I’m suspicious of fraudulent activity at this location. I checked in 2/13/26 at approximately 10:30 pm. As I approached the counter, the receptionist didn’t greet me. An aggressive woman demanded my ID and payment instead. Given the late hour and her manner, I took her to be confrontational. She set my payment card details beside her on the counter, then a male worker came over, which seemed suspicious to me and not like a coincidence. She asked for my email to send a receipt, but it never arrived. I also saw her reading the information on my ID. I didn’t engage and decided to report her behavior to corporate. My room was clean, but the mattress was lumpy and full of springs. I’m disgusted with this location and won’t stay here again. I do like The Hyatt and hope corporate looks into this.
