La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta Perimeter Medical

The staff were accommodating from the start, greeting me every day as I came in and went out. I asked for an iron and extra towels, and they happily provided them. They also gave me the highest floor and a room near the end of the hall, as I requested, with a smile. The spacious hotel room was clean, and the property was clean inside and out. It’s near the mall and restaurants, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch.

Walking distance to the mall and shops, and the hotel is in a great area. I liked having guest access to the laundry room. The room was okay overall, though it could use some work. The bed’s top cover had yellow spots when we arrived, and there was hair inside the fridge, so it hadn’t been cleaned. The pillows were all different sizes, which seemed odd, lol. It wasn’t a terrible stay.

The hotel’s in a great part of Sandy Springs and is busy, but mostly quiet. You can hear the neighbors a little. For how affordable the room is, I’d still recommend it. The basic breakfast is included, though it’s not the best. Booking and check-in were easy, but I didn’t expect the extra $150 damage deposit to be so high. My first room was already occupied, and the replacement smelled like weed. I raised that with the front desk and they assured me it wouldn’t be charged to me. Housekeeping took some of my trash and towels and replaced them, but didn’t make the bed. They left the bathroom trash on the counter and changed the bags in the other bins. Each time I turned on the shower, the tub filled up and took until halfway through to drain. I wouldn’t say I loved the experience, but I did enjoy my stay.

I was surprised that parking was free, since I expected to pay. The room was spacious and very clean, and the bathroom was spotless too. Staff were welcoming and friendly throughout the stay. The location was central and convenient for everything I needed. I’d definitely stay here again.
