Days Inn by Wyndham Sanford

We left within an hour and found another place because I wasn't going to expose our kids to that room. It smelled so bad the whole hotel felt more like a holding cell. The bed had clearly not been changed: there were fresh lipstick marks and peanut shells in it. The floor was filthy, with years of-looking buildup and debris, and the shower made me feel like you'd need every vaccine before stepping in. Roaches were right there with us. We checked in and checked straight back out, then booked elsewhere. Look at the photos and decide for yourself. We won't return.

The check-in desk employee was great, though the broken printer made the process take much longer than usual. The shower had mold, repairs looked shoddy, and breakfast was the worst I've ever seen. There are hotels on both sides, and I wish I'd picked one of them.

The bathroom wasn't clean, the sink leaked, and the room smelled strongly of smoke even though we'd been put in a non-smoking room. Some cushions had cigarette holes in them. For what I paid, I expected better. Breakfast fell short too: the bananas were overripe and the muffins were a bit hard. Hopefully they improve. I think I should get half my money back.

The place was crawling with roaches. There were holes in the bedding, smoke smell in the room, and no lightbulb. The door looked like it had been broken into, with a huge hole below the handle. When I tried to check in, the front desk person was lying down. I came back, returned the key, and didn't stay a minute. I called for a refund, but there was no supervisor there, and nobody ever called me back. It's badly outdated, in a sketchy area, and I wouldn't pay $5 to sleep there. It needs to close. Owner do not comment on my review, I called a hundred times and got no response.
