Days Inn Sanford

I'm booked here for four nights through my company, and after seeing the room I don't know how long it'll take to feel clean again. The whole facility is old and in poor shape. My non-smoking room clearly had been smoked in, but I was exhausted and had unpacked, so I didn't switch. Then I turned down the bed and found a used condom on the floor. I called the front desk to have someone remove it, and they sent a man who looked derelict and was missing most of his teeth. Absolutely vile. Run screaming, you'd be better off sleeping in a cardboard box on the street.

Treat this as a last resort. It's basic, and everything feels old. The WiFi keeps switching between good and bad, and they don't allow microwaves because the old wiring can't handle the voltage. The fridge is connected to the front door light, so switching that off turns the fridge off too. Shower water goes hot, cold, then hot again. Avoid the very back of the property, where they put truck drivers, hookers, party people, etc. I can't believe the Days Inn corporate office hasn't stepped in.

The staff were friendly, but the hotel was filthy, outdated, grimy, and had poor plumbing. I added a few photos of gross things to show the lack of attention to hygiene. I wouldn't recommend it. I'm switching to laquinta lake mary today and will review that one too.

The room smelled so awful I had to go to Wal-Mart to buy air freshener. There was blood on the sheets, and the front desk guy was rude. The whole place was nasty, and it was a waste of money. Worst motel I've stayed in.
