I travel every week and am Diamond, and I've never had this happen before. I arrived at 12:45 a.m. The front desk was empty, but my digital key let me into the building. I waited and called out, but no one came. I was exhausted and didn't ask for another room, though I would've if someone had been there. The bathroom clearly hadn't been cleaned. The shower had dirt and hair, plus what looked like urine splashes. They allow pets, and I bet someone let their dog use the shower instead of taking it outside. I didn't bring sandals on this work trip, so I tried to clean the shower and stood on a towel while using it. The floors were so sticky my slippers clung to them, and the used toilet hadn't been cleaned. Luckily, the kitchenette had dish soap and a sponge, which I used to clean the bathroom myself. There was also snot on one of the side tables, which I spotted before using it. I usually read reviews, but missed all the one-star ones mentioning cleanliness.

Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, and the breakfast was better than at most Home2 locations. There were several food choices, with none of the usual reheated breakfast-in-a-bag items. I also liked the layout of the breakfast area compared with other locations. This was my first stay here, and I'll come back when I'm in the area. It's a newer hotel, so everything still feels fresh. The room was clean and had no strange smells, with the usual Home2 layout.

I came from Orlando Florida and was impressed by how clean the rooms were and how welcoming the employees were. I'm disabled, and the room was designed with people with disabilities in mind, so it met all my needs. It's a huge, well-equipped studio and very comfortable. It was money well spent. When I travel next time, I can feel confident my needs will be met there.
