We had a truly enjoyable stay. It’s not far from the causeway, off the main path, and close to shopping. The beach is beautiful, and the local lighthouse is an easy walk away. The landscaped grounds are very well kept, and the units are immaculate. There are elevators, a nice pool area with restrooms, and a courtyard walk to the beach. You’ll also find tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard, BBQ grills, and a station for washing shells. The property is on the bike path and has outdoor bike storage for your stay.

The pool is great, and you can’t beat how close the beach is. The property is very well kept, with clean, updated amenities on site, and has been completely repaired and redone after Hurricane Ian. It’s a short five-minute drive to downtown and the island’s many restaurants. Great location, and I highly recommend it for families.

The views were spectacular day and night, and if you keep looking, the perfect seashell is waiting for you. Our family of three had a dreamy week here, with 15 of us in total for the family vacation. The condo was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a week or longer. The pool and beach are just steps away, which made it easy for everyone to choose between the two.

The condos are spacious and laid out so well, and the grounds are gorgeous. The pool is heated, too. Loggerhead Cay is the nicest complex on Sanibel by far, in a perfect spot right near the Causeway. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

At 49 years old as of 2024, this property has come a long way in 1.5 years. With 162 individual owners, the furnishings vary from unit to unit. Work is still happening every day, including painting and hammer drilling, among who knows what else. The office seemed to take the storm damage the worst, and the storm shutters don’t appear to have helped much. The pool survived and is a great place to relax after a beach visit. Outdoor grills, tennis, pickleball, and shuffleboard are all open and ready to use.
