The staff are very friendly, and the renovated room was clean and comfortable, with a comfy bed. The location is convenient, only a block off the main drag. My only complaint was how easily outside sounds came through, including passing cars and people talking. Apart from the noise, it was a pleasant place to stay.

For a quick Tuesday night in Pendleton, I found the room clean and updated, and the staff dealt with our TV problem quickly and efficiently. They were exceptionally friendly. The main drawback was the missing in-room basics: no coffee maker, iron, or microwave. The office doesn't open until 11:30 AM, when coffee is available, so those things would help guests who get up early. I was also woken around 4:00 AM by banging dumpsters. It seems Tuesday morning is trash pickup day, and guests should be told at check-in. It wasn't a bad place for a short stay.

Thomas was helpful, and the morning coffee was great. The room was sparse, cute, and clean, with a small shower and wonderfully hot water. The bed was cozy enough and we slept well, though it creaked a little when we shifted around. The rooms have been updated and feel a bit like a dorm, but they're welcoming. You can tell whoever bought this old motel cares about it and is trying to turn it into a sweet little destination. A bathroom fan would be useful.

Good value, and I'd stay again. The room and bed were comfortable, the towels were nice, and there was good coffee in the morning. The desk staff and dog were friendly, and restaurants were an easy walk away.
