Sanibel Island Beach Resort

The heated pool was a welcome treat during the cold snap, and the beach chairs and towels were provided. The beach is natural, with plenty washed up from the gulf, which worked out just fine for us because we found tons of beautiful shells. Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and restaurants were conveniently located nearby. A wonderful stay, and we’d definitely come back.

The pool was comfortable, and there’s a tiki bar for food and drinks. The beach is within walking distance, with lounge chairs provided. The restaurant is small but nicely decorated and accommodating, with a full menu and bar. When we arrived, the staff were very welcoming and helped us out. The resort is well kept, the rooms are clean, and they tidy them daily.

The restaurant was very good, the staff were nice, and I liked the pool bar and view. The hotel itself was nice too, but the dirty room ruined it for me. The floor was especially bad. I wiped between the beds with a white towel and it turned black. Those floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. I tried to upload photos but couldn’t. Because of the cleanliness, I’ll never return.

I had a great stay, aside from one issue: noise from neighboring rooms woke me early on several mornings. The people next door weren’t being loud, but speech and TVs carry through what seem like thin walls. If you’re a light sleeper like me, earplugs might help. The poolside food was excellent, especially the shrimp tacos, which were the best I’ve ever had. Isaiah at the pool bar was a delight, friendly, personable, and really efficient. Samantha at the front desk was just as good. I spoke with her in person and by phone several times, and she was always kind and clear when answering my questions. My room was in great condition, comfortable, and very clean. Housekeeping were lovely and accommodating. Being able to look out over the pool made it easy to get to both the beach and pool bar. There were comfortable chaise lounges at the pool and beach, plus shaded hammocks among the palms. I highly recommend Sanibel Island Beach Resort.
