For a family-like vacation stay, this has been the best place so far. The rooms are comfy and furnished, and the location is ideal, near the lighthouse and a five-minute walk from the beach. The owner family provides bikes, beach towels, and everything you can think of for enjoying the beach and island. Joe and Connor are super nice and make sure you have a great experience.

I've traveled a lot, and it's rare for hospitality to impress me, but Joe really did. We arrived after check-in time and on the wrong day, which was our mistake. He responded incredibly quickly and gave us a better room at the same rate we had for the following night, simply because that was the going rate that night. He explained the property and gave us room options. The inn itself is what you'd expect from a small motel. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the amenities were great: free bikes, beach gear, and a station for washing shells. They seem to have thought of every detail. I couldn't recommend staying here more.

The island has a relaxed, laid-back feel and isn't too touristy, just right for a weekend escape from the hustle and bustle. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the beach cruisers are free to use. I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in Sanibel.

We celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary here in October 2025. After researching Sanibel getaways across a few days and apps, this small, quaint place stood out. The building may be modest, but the experience is big and bold. The innkeepers were fantastic, and everyone we met was courteous, friendly, and proud of their hospitality. The place was very clean and comfortable. It's relaxing, and they provide bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach carts to make a day at the beach easier. They also offer recommendations for dining, shopping, and places to visit. Funtastic.
