OC House

I stayed at the Orange Mango House for three nights while in town for a convention, and it was a pleasant visit. I rented a bunk in a room with three other people and enjoyed meeting them. The house was tidy and very clean, and I appreciated the no-shoes rule. Phong was nice and ready to help if needed. I’d come back.

My first hostel stay was one I won’t forget. I enjoyed talking and spending time with Phong and the other guests, and meeting new people was a real highlight. The home was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I could want. It’s near John Wayne airport and close to the convention center. Phong keeps working to improve the place and make guests comfortable. I appreciate the chance to stay, and who knows, a conversation with a stranger might teach you something new. I’ll definitely stay here again.

I made good friends during my short stay, thanks to how friendly the other guests were. The owner was personable and welcoming, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms felt safe. They even provided a fan, which was great in the hot summer. It’s a wonderful place for a few days or a few weeks. This was my first hostel, and thanks to Phong, I’d stay in one again. Thanks, OMG hostel, for making it a positive experience.

It feels like staying in a home, and everything was clean. The staff were friendly, and I appreciated that the rules were meant to keep things quiet and tidy for everyone. I’d already checked out for the day when I missed my late-night bus. They kindly set me up at the hostel for another night and offered me a ride to the bus station in the morning.
