Inn Santa Clara

The little things made our anniversary stay feel special: the owners checked in before we arrived, sent clear check-in details, and even brought a bakery box on our last morning. They were incredibly attentive without us needing to ask. We stayed in the Barn, where the room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, from slippers, robes, bath salts, ear plugs and a sleep mask to a Bluetooth speaker, Nest thermostat, full-size shower soap, microwave, and mini fridge with freezer. Hot water never ran out, and the soaker tub was great for several long baths. Outside, there are several places to sit and relax, and the property is beautiful. It was also convenient for our activities and nearby food. A few practical things to know: parking is limited, and a poorly parked SUV or truck can make it especially tight. The loft windows in the Barn have no coverings, so daylight comes in early and afternoon sun can glare across the bed and TV, making a nap harder. There wasn't a closet or dresser, though the bench shelves at the foot of the bed can hold unpacked clothes. We had an excellent stay and would happily come back or recommend it for a quiet getaway.
