The Queen bed was so hard that my hips started aching after I tried lying down for about half an hour. It seemed like there was no box spring and very little support from the frame. When I asked the desk to switch rooms or provide a mattress topper, they said all they could offer was a blanket. I ended up piling on every pillow, two extra blankets, and my own blanket doubled over to make it bearable. I woke up sore for hours. For $135, I was really disappointed that one blanket was the only fix they offered. I’d stayed here twice in a week. The first time, in what I think was room 201, I had a King bed and it was extremely comfortable. That room was clean and very nice. The rooms are clean in general, and the bathroom was nice too.

My son stayed one night on December 30th and was charged a $100 security deposit. It still hasn’t been returned. We’ve called twice and spoken with a man at reception who assured us it would be sent back immediately. We’re still waiting, and I’m very annoyed and considering what to do next.

There are places to eat within walking distance and a coffee shop across the street, so the location is decent. The room itself was a mess: stained sheets, dirty walls, broken drawers, and an ironing board with a torn cover. I wiped the floor after checking in and the paper towel came away dirty, even though the floor looked only sort of clean to begin with. The shower stayed hot for just a few minutes, and the cheap towels never dried us off. Our smoke detector also went off and wouldn’t stop. I booked through hotels.com and got what other reviewers there had described. I wouldn’t stay again.

The room was clean and nice, and the bathroom felt modern and well set up. But early check-in cost me $30, charged at $10 an hour, and after two weeks I’m still waiting for my security deposit back. The policies feel predatory. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
