The area feels safe and there are lots of food spots and stores close by. My room was super clean, the rates were very affordable, and everyone was so welcoming that I booked my next stay right at checkout. Ed and his grandson were especially helpful and nice. I was really happy here.

I’ve stayed in a big corner room in the middle of the hotel, and it’s quiet, with a great shower, fridge, and microwave. Some other rooms are on the small side. The place could be 70 years old, but it’s been remodeled nicely. I’ve been paying around a hundred dollahs a night, which is a heck of a bargain in Santa Clara. Highly recommend it. The manager, Ed, is really nice and has been here for over 20 years.

Getting around was easy from here. The hotel is close to the bus line, and I could catch a bus to where I wanted to go in Santa Clara or San Jose. There are tons of food options nearby and a Safeway just a short walk away for supplies. My room was very clean, with a large shower and fridge.

The rooms are clean and updated. Still, be aware of the owner/manager who lives at the hotel. I found him rude and unhinged, and saw him behave in a very “unchecked” way.

Ed, the owner, was kind and sweet, and made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious and clean, and the area felt safe. We’d definitely stay again when traveling through.
