I've stayed here a few times in a large hot tub room. The beds are comfortable and the room was clean, but the laundry setup made this visit a struggle. There's only one washer and one dryer for such a big hotel. I had two loads and started at 10 pm, then wound up doing laundry until 3 am. Each load took about 40 minutes, and since our room was right across from the laundry room, I could hear when the machines stopped. The washer worked fine, but the dryer barely dried a normal load. I had to run both loads through two cycles, and some clothes were still wet, so I hung them in the room. It was squealing too, probably the belt, and I hope they get it checked before it breaks. On our previous visit, the first-floor hall reeked of cigarette smoke so badly I had to hold my breath walking through.

The hotel was clean and cozy, with Southwestern decor and the amenities you'd expect. Everyone was nice. There was a lovely hot tub, guest laundry, and a complimentary water, coffee, and tea station. They even had jasmine tea, fancy! The bed wasn't bad for a hotel, but the pillows were awful. Hotels should replace pillows and rotate mattresses regularly, and I wish we'd brought our own pillows. My indoor allergies flared up while we were there. It's clean, but the building isn't new, so anyone sensitive to indoor allergens might feel more comfortable outside than inside. Most people probably wouldn't notice, but this one's for those of us who do.

My husband and I have stayed here many times when visiting Santa Fe, but a few weeks ago I was surprised by how run-down it seemed. The breakfast had run out of food by the time we came down. There were only biscuits and gravy and waffle batter left. The receptionist also wasn't as friendly as on earlier visits. Our room and the hallways needed vacuuming. There was hair along the edges of the bathroom's tiled floor, a nasty ring in the tub, and lint all over the headboard. The sheets felt sandy, and the comforter and sheets smelled like wet dog. 🤮 I couldn't get comfortable and hardly slept. I took pictures because I was disgusted and disappointed.

Marla at the front desk made check-in easy even though it was busy, and she got everyone through promptly. She also arranged a complimentary upgrade to a first-floor room by the exit, just as I'd requested for my dogs. We came over from the coyote hotel up the road because they only had twin rooms available, and I'm glad they were full. Our room was spacious, clean, smelled good, and had a comfy bed. I'd definitely recommend staying here in Santa Fe. Thanks, Marla, for such a great stay!

The room was clean and cozy, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were really nice, check-in was quick and easy, and they let us in a little early. Breakfast was pretty standard, but the stay was worth it. I'd book again.
