The night staff's poor communication made an already bad stay worse. First, I was assigned a room that hadn't been cleaned, with slept-in sheets sprawled across the bed and trash on the table. In the replacement room, the promised fridge was missing, so my food spoiled. The property looked much more run down than the photos and didn't seem very clean. The pool was out of service too.

Check-in was easy, and the guy at the front was as helpful as he could be. After that, though, the property was a letdown. There was no pool or restaurant, and it looked abandoned or closed. The photos were extremely misleading, and there were no towels, so I couldn't even take a proper shower. The place badly needs repairs and upgrades. Dust-covered abandoned cars and a motorcycle that looked untouched for years were on the property, and homeless people were coming onto it. If you only need somewhere quick to sleep, maybe, but don't expect much. Avoid it if you can.

In the less than an hour I spent in my room, someone tried to look in through the window. When I first arrived, there had also been an incident at the property, with 5 to 6 police vehicles on site. The bed looked used and the soap had been opened when I entered. Later, after I kept asking, the front desk woman checked and said the room was “used.” She dismissed my concern about mold, even after I showed her a photo of mold and mildew on the wall, and said the marks were “holes drilled for a new internet connection.” Another customer arrived, and her tone changed. She was immediately dismissive when I tried to check out and insisted I was wrong. Her exact words were, “Go stay at a $200 hotel if you are concerned for your safety.” At a $70 nightly rate, I don't understand the resistance to acknowledging the issue and refunding the room. The room smelled of smoke and a mild mold or mildew odor. The bed and shower weren't clean, there were no towels, and the air conditioning was dusty. The pool, microwave, fridge, breakfast, and other amenities weren't included. If all you need is an uncleaned bed, shower without towels, and dusty AC, this might be OK.

The front desk people were nice, and the beds were comfortable, as hotel beds should be. The neighborhood isn't great, though. The place needs a major facelift and looks nothing like the pictures. The walls need paint or at least a cleaning. There was hair in the shower drain, the curtain needs replacing, and its rod should be fixed at the right height. The toilet seat needs tightening too.
