Ramada by Wyndham Santa Fe

The rooms were okay, but the tap water was awful and not suitable for rinsing your mouth. Watch your charges carefully here. I asked for one night, and the front desk person began the transaction for one night. When we got to the room at 10pm, he charged my card for another night without asking. I caught it because I had notifications on. When I went back to ask about the extra charge, he gave me attitude and acted offended that I questioned him, even though I hadn't agreed to pay for a second night. Be careful when booking.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the rooms smelled like dirty dogs. There was urine on the toilet seat and drink splatter on the wall by the trash, like someone had tossed a Coke and it hadn't been cleaned up. Check-in was easy, and breakfast was the usual lobby spread. The stay wasn't awful, but I wouldn't return. I'm disappointed Wyndham would put its name on this place.

Breakfast had a good variety, and the hotel was clean. We slept okay, but the bed was so hard it could use a foam topper or maybe needs replacing. That was the one thing I'd change.

The location is the only thing this place has going for it. The rooms are dirty, and the carpet looks as if it hasn't been vacuumed in ages. The bathroom ceiling is coming loose and looks like it could fall at any moment. Staff were arrogant and flat-out said the hotel was full, even though rooms could still be booked on their website. When a late-arriving guest asked to change rooms, they were told to take a refund and find another hotel. They seem to count on tired people not going anywhere. I definitely won't stay a second time.
