It was cold out, so we ducked into the book and coffee shop for a cappuccino, which was really good. The oversized chessboard was fun, too. I did have to take a work call, but that’s life. Smell the coffee and enjoy the journey.
There are lovely jewelry shops and galleries around here, plus some cute clothes. Prices are about what you’d expect, and the variety wasn’t quite as broad as I’d have liked. Still, if you enjoy walking around and window shopping, this area is worth a look.
The shops and boutiques are beautiful, and the galleries have fabulous art and jewelry. My two issues: it’s all much too expensive for everyday folks, and there are lots of steps, so it isn’t very accessible for people with disabilities.
An interesting place, though Santa Fe is expensive, as you probably know. There are quite a few snooty people around.
Santa Fe is a beautiful area. For day drinking, I highly recommend the rooftop bar at Coyote Cafe.
