Ocean Park Inn

It’s a clean, cozy apartment style place with a relaxed vibe and neighbors. Nothing lavish or fancy, just the essentials and generally quiet. I really liked it and will book again if I want somewhere nice and quaint. The office closes, though, and if you lose your key or need something, you have to wait until the next day. That’s worrying. If something happened to our card keys at the beach or they malfunctioned, it could feel like being under a curfew. That’s the only reason I didn’t give service a 5.

Amir at the front desk was really nice and helpful, and they kept my bags behind the desk before check-in. The room was lovely and clean, and the property was beautiful, especially the courtyard. I could get around Santa Monica easily by car, and I’d definitely stay again. The main drawback is how close the hotel is to the road. They provide free earplugs, but mine were cheap and wouldn’t stay in my ears. I was there for one night and had an excellent stay.

I could get to everything I wanted to do from this great central spot and avoid traffic. The staff were friendly, and the water gets HOT! We loved staying here and will be back every time we’re in Cali.

I had to cancel after my plans changed, and the inn’s customer care was great. I used the contact form on its website and got a prompt reply. Since I had booked through Lastminute, they couldn’t cancel it for me, but they explained why and responded to my follow-up email. I eventually managed to log in and cancel through Lastminute, which was impossible to contact directly. If your plans might change, I recommend booking through the inn’s website instead.
