Promenade Studio

Management has posted the same threatening sign all over the building, on practically every wall and only inches apart. On top of that, management has let another tenant act like a vigilante and harass people they don’t like. It doesn’t feel like a place anyone would want to call home.

The building is comfortable, clean, and well managed. Management responds quickly, and I can barely hear noise from inside my unit, even though it’s right on Third Street Promenade. The location is hard to beat, on the Promenade and three blocks from the beach. I love living here and would recommend it to friends.

Manuel, the super, has been attentive and quick to take care of my requests. When I left something essential for work in my apartment, he overnighted it to me in NY. The residences are brand new and nice, though a little small, which is expected so close to the beach. I’m very happy with the experience.

I loved renting a studio at Criterion Promenade. The interior has been fully remodeled, while the classic exterior architecture remains. My girlfriend jokes that it looks like a fairytale castle. I chose an interior unit for the quiet, which mattered to me. The units facing the Promenade have a lot going on outside, so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to noise. The location is fantastic, right on the Promenade in downtown Santa Monica. Charlene and the building staff are great, and when I had a couple of issues with things like the garbage disposal, they fixed them quickly. Highly recommend, just wanted to share my experience.
