Pet friendly, with a fridge and microwave in the room, and a surprisingly spacious shower. The air conditioner was tiny but worked fine, and the TV was a good size with a slightly janky setup. Standard rooms aren't large, though the price is reasonable. It's a solid little hotel, clearly a small business or family run operation, and I'd rather give my money to places like this than the fat cats. Don't arrive too late, though. We got there a little past midnight and spent about 10-15 minutes trying to find someone to check us in.

The ideal location made it easy to walk over after dinner and enjoy live music at Anna's Cider, just behind the hotel on Main street. The Santa Paula Inn is a cute boutique place with lots of character, built in 1920. Our clean, nicely appointed double queen suite had new floor tile and a new bathroom despite the building's age, plus a wet bar, compact refrigerator, and microwave. I loved the local artwork, including several beautiful pieces made by the owner. I'll definitely return.

The staff really make this place a gem. The room worked perfectly, the AC was cold, breakfast food was good, and the plants outside were amazing. Get past a few small things and it's a solid, classic, beautiful place.

The historic building gives this charming hotel more of a B&B feel, which was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are clean and well cared for, with character from the architecture and modern amenities. Beds are comfortable, and daily linens are available on request. Guest parking is in a private lot, there's secure keypad entry, and the room doors still use actual keys, a nice old-school touch. Breakfast is complimentary and continental, with a picturesque courtyard to enjoy it in. Restaurants, shops, cafes, and lively nightlife are within walking distance, and it's convenient for everything Ventura has to offer while still feeling tucked away. I've bookmarked this hidden treasure for future visits.

The Santa Paula Inn is a beautiful historic treasure, indoors and out, with little sitting areas in back that feel peaceful and relaxing. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the woman at the front desk was a blessing to meet. I love the staff and this inn. Santa Paula itself has so much charm and beauty, and I love its diversity and feel. There's no need to go anywhere else. Thank you, staff.
