Regency Inn

We didn’t stay the night because we felt too uncomfortable. Around 9:15 p.m., when we pulled up during our Route 66 trip, people were roaming both levels with flashlights and looking into rooms. The office and bedroom both smelled like urine. I’m giving two stars for service only because the clerk refunded us. We found a cleaner, better smelling, safer hotel five minutes away. I don’t recommend staying here.

I always have a relaxing time here. The pool is great, the air conditioning works amazingly, and the refrigerators keep things cold. Nobody comes nosing around in your room, and the showers get super hot!

We arrived at 5 p.m., three hours after check-in began, and were told our room wasn’t ready because the previous guests had broken the bed. They needed time to remove it and put in another, so we were asked to come back in about an hour. After the long drive, we couldn’t believe we had to find somewhere else to go. They directed us to Carl's Jr, but on the way we saw dented motel doors, police patrolling the lot, and people hanging around who made us uneasy. We felt scared and unsafe about staying there and think the place shouldn’t be operating. We found a lovely, clean, safe hotel in downtown Tulsa instead. Ten minutes later, we were comfortable. Terrible experience, don’t book.

I paid for two nights and left within two hours. The room was infested with roaches and bedbugs. I went to the office to report it, but nobody came, even after several calls and messages. Booking said they’d handle the issue, but all I got was an $11 credit toward my next trip. I won’t use Booking again.
