The hot breakfast was good, and the hotel was nice enough. Our room had a strong musty smell. They had no other room available, so we put up with it for the one night.

The employees I spoke with were pleasant, but the hotel and room both smelled bad. The room had a foot-odor smell, and the carpet was heavily stained and dirty. The rooms and hallway need a full refurbishment, and the location felt a bit sketchy. My biggest issue was the smoking bench right outside the only entrance. Guests and employees were constantly smoking there, including weed, so every time I went in or out I had to walk through a cloud of noxious, cancer-causing smoke. For that alone, I wouldn't recommend it.

The breakfast was the best part of my stay, and it was actually solid. Still, I expected something more like Holiday Inn standards and got what felt like a budget motel instead. The property seemed dated and wasn't as clean or well cared for as advertised. Breakfast alone wouldn't be enough to bring me back.

We were only passing through on the way to New Orleans and stayed one night to sleep. I definitely wouldn't return. The beds were very hard, and the toilet sat so low it seemed made for a first grader. You had to hold the flush lever down to get it to work. There was no AC in the third-floor hall, just fans. The desk chair in our room was broken and sat very low too. The place needs a major upgrade, from the old fixtures to the hallway carpet, which had spots everywhere and was torn in places.
