Sleep Inn & Suites North Mobile Saraland

The neighborhood felt safe, the staff were friendly, and the stay has been good value so far. We check out tomorrow, so I'll update this if anything major changes. I didn't give five stars because our first room hadn't been cleaned, though they fixed that quickly after finding it had been marked clean by mistake in the computer. There were also electrical problems: my daughter got shocked through her charger cord when I handed her the charger plugged into the lamp, and I got shocked through my phone while it was plugged into the wall.

Breakfast was pretty good, and the hotel was very clean. I found it comfortable for a one or two night stay, and it's one of the better hotels of this type I've stayed in lately. My only complaint was the noisy refrigerator in the room, which sounded like someone snoring.

The free breakfast was a letdown, with few choices, no eggs or meat, and prepackaged muffins that weren't very good. The rooms themselves were clean and everything worked, though they feel a bit dated. There aren't any USB charging ports.

The location is really convenient, and the room was spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. The TV didn't work well, though, and the place felt dated and battered. Staff seemed like they didn't want to be there. I wouldn't rush back, but you could do worse.
