The Ashley

The TV was great, and the location made it easy to get around, but I was incredibly disappointed. The beds were unbelievably uncomfortable, the pillows had no support, and the old AC was very loud. The bathroom was barely big enough for me, and the shower hardly fit my petite 5ft fiance. With the place just 10 feet from a busy road, there was tons of noise. Half the lights worked, and the blinds were broken, with a curtain covering one spot. I don't expect much, but this is the worst place I've stayed to date. I wish I had more positive things to say.

The location is fantastic, and communication with the host was great. Our room was ready an hour early, too. It's not a luxury hotel, but it was clean and warm. The room and shower are old and hard to make look new, and some things weren't the nicest. All our towels had bleach stains.

The location was convenient, but the room was gross and dirty, and there was no staff around. Every towel we had was stained and had hair on it. The shower was outrageous, the pressure was so harsh it got in the way, and the water temperature could easily scald you.

The bathroom was very clean and updated, but the rest of the property looked more rundown than during our stay last year. We were there for three nights, and it wasn't as clean as before. There was a quarter inch of dust on the AC filter, stains on the duvet, dirty carpet, and the chair upholstery needed a good cleaning. One of the kayaks for guests was full of nasty water. I know it's economy priced, but I still expect basic cleanliness inside and out. I was disappointed.
