Flamingo Inn

First timers, and we’d come back. The place has a quaint, just-picked-off-Route-66 feel, with an easy, human check-in. It isn’t glamorous, and the pool water is concrete, but it’s clean, quirky, and does the job. Pretty handy spot along Business 41.

The room was spotless and really spacious, and the location was great. The front desk woman was genuinely nice and very helpful. There was a great TV for watching the Olympic Games, too.

Flamingo Inn was quiet, peaceful, and well kept, with an easy check-in. The owners were honest and clean. The management treated us like family and was friendly and helpful. Our recently renovated room was immaculate, with everything we needed and upgraded, premium-quality items. Not a crumb on the floor, I could walk barefoot and my feet stayed completely clean, which is rare in a hotel. The bed, linens, and towels were all A+. The price felt fair. We had a wonderful stay and will be back. If you need a room in the area, this is the spot.

I rented room 103 and felt like I was in a cramped, old-fashioned fortress. It was dirty, with garbage cans, walls, and doors all in bad shape. When I came out, the cleaning lady had her whole head inside my car door talking to my husband. That felt so disrespectful and unprofessional. The man at the desk, possibly the owner, was very nice and accommodating, but $80 for that little closed-in room? Never again. I’m still waiting for my $50 deposit.
