La Quinta Inn And Suites Sarasota

We were only there one night while visiting friends nearby. The place was quiet, easy to reach from I-75, and the staff were friendly and professional. Everything was clean and well maintained, including the room. It smelled a bit odd at first, but the air wasn’t on, and the smell cleared as soon as it started. It’s pet friendly, and the animal guests didn’t bother us at all. The beds are on the soft side. We’ll stay again when we visit our friends.

For the price, the stay was good and about what I expect from a La Quinta. Staff were friendly, the room was fairly clean, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. We did find a baby lizard in the room, though. Breakfast was a letdown, mainly because of Covid-19. The breakfast bags seemed to run out early each morning, so all that was left was fruit and coffee. We’re used to the buffet, which is one of the main reasons we choose La Quinta. Still, we’d stay here again.

A nice place for a few nights, with a spotless, updated room and complimentary breakfast. Downtown is only about a five-minute drive away. You can bring a dog, though we didn’t. If you get a coupon book from a Florida rest area, the cost is $75.

Morgan at the front desk was wonderful, so helpful and polite, and just seemed like a great person. My room was perfect, very clean, and smelled amazing. The price was great, too. I definitely recommend this place and will stay again when I’m in town for work.
