Hilton Garden Inn Saratoga Springs

We booked five days, and at check-in I was told rooms are cleaned every other day. But in all five days, ours was never serviced: trash stayed put, and there were no fresh towels unless I went to get them myself. I asked the front desk several times to have the room cleaned. Comfortable beds are a main reason I choose Hilton brands, but none of us in our three rooms had one. My parents' accessible room on the third floor had a mini-fridge that never worked, even after management was told. My brother's third-floor room had no heat for two nights. I don't recommend this hotel at all.

The hotel itself was okay, but I found the breakfast handling pretty sneaky. Staff said good morning, then waited until you touched the food before telling you it cost $11 for a tiny bowl of cereal and a stale English muffin. I've never run into that at any Hilton I've stayed at around the country. I wasn't impressed, and I won't stay again.

For our one-night stay on 10/17/25, the outside temperature ranged from 31-50°F. We checked in at 3 pm and went out to dinner with the thermostat set as high as 74°F. The room was still uncomfortably cold when we got back, and resetting it to 74°F made no difference. The front desk told me management hadn't approved turning on the heat in any rooms yet. They sent a space heater, but staff seemed unaware guests might want warmth when it's 50°F outside. At $400 a night at Hilton Garden Inn, I was extremely disappointed. The hotel was poor value, and the doors badly need painting, with chipped paint throughout. Hilton Honors member.

I come here every week for a night out, and five stars is for the bar service. Lizzy, the bartender, is professional and has such lovely energy in every interaction. The place is clean, and the staff are nice.
