Kewadin Sault Ste Marie Hotel

I came to see the casino and have fun, but Claude told inappropriate jokes. Those explicit one-liners were uncalled for. I guess nobody spoke to him about it. I also wanted to see the new restaurant. The hotel renovations are quite impressive.

After a long week of work, we ate like kings. I had steak and coconut shrimp, plus lobster dip with pita chips. So good! The waitress was really nice and gave us great recommendations.

We stayed here September 27th and loved it. The rooms were very clean, and the front desk staff were fantastic. The valet also seemed very friendly and helpful from the several interactions I saw, though we didn’t use the service. It’s a short drive into the U.S. and not far from the border. Hotels on the Canadian side in the Soo were more expensive and didn’t have nearly as many amenities or updates. Great value and experience. We definitely plan to come back, and stay longer next time. 5+ stars, massive applause for the front desk ladies and their customer service. Love, love, love!

Some of the front desk staff were nice. The room was clean, and the indoor jacuzzi was cool. The shower was hard to maneuver, and I wish checkout time were later. Last night, the guy at the pool was taking a water sample and acted like he didn’t care when we said the pool was cold. He didn’t try to fix anything, just said it was 85 fahrenheit, even though a lot of people felt cold. Last week, during our anniversary, a grumpy lady answered when we asked if we could have another cake flavor because we didn’t like the other one.
