The rain tapping on the skylight in the green room was a lovely way to fall asleep after our late Friday arrival. My husband and I have always pictured living in a farmhouse like The Stovall house, and staying there lived up to that dream. It has the character of an older house along with the modern comforts we’re used to. We had breakfast and coffee on the porch the next morning, with a great view wherever we looked. The weekend felt so calm and restful. Draeton and Jeff were friendly and had good ideas for how to spend the day. We’re already thinking about a return visit.

We’ve made the Stovall House our anniversary trip two years in a row, and we love the place as much as Helen. It’s cute and sits just outside town, so it stays quiet when Helen gets a bit loud late at night. The property dogs are adorable, and breakfast has always been really good. We did two nights on our first visit and one on the most recent one. We’ll be back for sure.

The house was beautiful and our room was clean, but the service and little details impressed me most. Breakfast was our favorite part, fresh-tasting and filling. Such a good spot for a weekend away. We’ll return.

We were greeted so warmly for our one-night visit. The bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. We had the “yellow” room. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

I’d never been to a bed and breakfast before, and this first stay couldn’t have gone better. The innkeeper was kind and helpful, with good suggestions for things to do nearby. We spent a quiet morning on the porch with their great coffee and mountain views. The grounds are lovely and well cared for, our charming room was spotless, and they’d thought of lots of small extras we might need. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and a great start to the day. It’s a lovely choice for a romantic weekend, and we’d definitely stay again.
