Azalea Inn and Villas

Breakfast was delicious and nutritious, ready on time, and we weren't hurried through it. On our second morning, we lingered over coffee and conversation with other travelers for almost an hour, which was really nice. Our room was large, spotless, and comfortable, with a lovely big bed that had no footboard to bother my feet at night, a common B&B problem for me. Azalea Inn exceeded my expectations, and I'd stay again.

We took a last-minute trip and were glad we picked Azalea. Janet and Q went out of their way to make us comfortable in the room and at the dining table. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the evening snacks were fantastic, especially the wings and red velvet cupcakes. Thanks, Q! Street parking was easy to find.

On our last night, I made tea in the dining room and sat in the parlor with a Savannah history book. The quiet house and the view through its big windows onto the street made me feel immersed in the city. Parking was limited, but we always found a spot by the house, and we felt safe even after staff hours. We stayed in the Huntingdon Garden room, once the home's master suite. It was beautiful, with high ceilings, tall windows, and a sitting area by the fireplace. It felt like stepping back in time, while still being comfortable and modern. Everything was clean, fresh, and well cared for. Azalea Inn & Villas gave us the quiet, cozy historic retreat we wanted, with warm, genuine hospitality. The staff were kind and attentive. We looked forward to breakfast with the other guests each morning, and the food was fantastic every day. We usually missed social hour, but never the nightly desserts. It felt like visiting an old friend. We plan to stay again on our next trip to Savannah.

Breakfast was heavenly, and the staff clearly put care into making this a cozy, quaint, welcoming B&B. The location was phenomenal for walking to downtown Savannah attractions, which is a real help since parking there is expensive and hard to find. We'd stay again.
