I’m a Diamond member, and I’m extremely disappointed by this stay. I’ve been here a few times without trouble, but this time the customer service fell short from the hotel through corporate. I joined a group reservation and specifically asked at check-in to be listed as the primary guest so I could use my loyalty number. The front desk agent said it was done and my information had been updated. At checkout, I found out I’d only been added as an “additional guest,” so I got no loyalty points or stay credit. Mistakes happen, but nobody helped fix this one. I’ve called and emailed the General Manager several times and got no response. Corporate Guest Relations also declined to help. It’s frustrating to do everything right, be told it’s handled, then hear “there is nothing we can do” after the hotel makes an error. The business center equipment was also barely functional, so I had to go to the UPS Store. Please do better, Hilton.

I’ve never had a better hotel experience. We came with part of our baseball team and their families, and enjoyed everything from happy hour to the morning omelette station. If you’re looking for a hotel in Savannah, this is the one.

Breakfast was mediocre at best, and the property is showing wear and tear, with an old, tired feel. We only stayed one night on the way to Florida. The displayed sanitation grade was 87-B.

The bartender working the Evening Reception on 1/2/26 was exceptional, kind, attentive to everyone, and full of recommendations. I appreciated that. But I booked the Embassy because I wanted my family to swim and use a jacuzzi hot tub during winter break. I paid $180+ for one day and expected the pool and hot tub shown in the online photos. There was no jacuzzi hot tub, and the pool was freezing cold. The Embassy is listed as a four-star hotel, and I’ve stayed at cheaper, lower-star places with a heated indoor pool and a working hot tub. I wish I’d read more reviews first, since others had said the same thing. The pool was still cold and the website still showed a hot tub, which made me feel Hilton didn’t care. I’m not rich or wealthy. I’d saved up to give my kids a nice experience, bought pool gear, and then we were disappointed and didn’t go swimming. This Embassy had been the highlight of our family vacation, so being let down really hurt. I don’t think the problems I experienced will be taken seriously. I haven’t sent the hotel information to corporate about the pool and hot tub issue, and I hope corporate is being honest when they say they contacted the Embassy. But that doesn’t fix this awful experience. I deserve compensation for the things I paid for when I booked but didn’t receive. This was my second disappointing experience with a Hilton hotel I booked this week. Our Marriott stay was much better, with a warm indoor pool and an actual jacuzzi hot tub, even in summer.

This has been a regular stop for our road trips to FL, and I’ve stayed here nearly a dozen times over the years. The rooms have been clean and the staff friendly, and the fitness center is surprisingly good for a hotel in this class. But charging for parking now feels like being nickeled and dimed. I may need to rethink where we stay on next year’s trips.
