Even after the renovation, we saw cockroaches, there was mold in the shower, and the AC unit leaked. Breakfast costs 16.95 and isn’t worth it. Given what they charge, it should be included for all guests. I also heard a woman behind the desk shouting at someone on the phone, repeating, “That’s a you problem, not a me problem!” I won’t stay at Hilton again.

The hotel was quiet at night and well maintained, and my room was very clean. The staff were friendly, and both check in and check out were easy. A great place to stay.

I was concerned by all the bad reviews, but booked anyway because it was close to family. The rooms have been remodeled and look great, with clean, attractive decor. The entryway still needs work, but the ladies at the front counter were friendly and ready to help. The coffee was smooth, and the bar was good. The new bathroom toilets flush loudly and quickly, like on a cruise ship, and sit a little low. Nights were quiet, and I had no problems with the room or the workers. The one thing I’d change is breakfast. They charge $15 per person for processed food. Down the street, the pancake house charges $14 for a huge omelette that could feed three people. Hilton, make a difference, improve breakfast and include it with every stay like the Marriott across the street.

The lobby was still being worked on during our stay, but it was quiet, and we couldn’t hear the neighbors on either side. The hotel has newly renovated rooms with a fridge, microwave, TV, and coffee pot. The beds and pillows were really comfortable, and it felt like home. The bathroom had plenty of counter space, nice new showers, and shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion from a good brand, so there’s no need to bring your own. It’s not in a particularly walkable part of Savannah, but it was a relaxing, comfortable hotel with the feeling of home.
