I was homeless and placed my child at Park Place. Ms. Perkins and other staff took my child from me, put me in a mental place, and tried to have my son placed in foster care. I’m grateful his dad came and got him. I did get my child back with me. Don’t trust anyone there!

The staff and kids are really nice, at least to me. There are lots of travel opportunities, fun activities, and a supportive environment. My only issue is how easily you can get kicked out, even if you’re not a bad child. I think the same can be said for staff.

After I called many times looking for help with homelessness and a crisis, I was told the transitional youth program was at capacity. I didn’t get any help or support through the street outreach program.

I spent a little under a week there back in November because of a situation at home. It was okay, and I made friends with some of the kids, a few of whom I still talk to. The staff were kind and caring and helped me with a lot. I’ll never forget how much they did.
