Best Western Paradise Inn

The hotel covered what we needed, but having to get a special key at the front desk and sign up for a hot tub or pool time felt too controlling. I’m sure there’s a reason for the system, but we’re adults, and it’s no longer the COVID era. Guests should be able to use those areas without feeling micromanaged. The fitness area could use a cleaning and some updates. Thanks.

I used to think Best Western was a lower tier, just functional and not very nice. The Savoy Paradise Inn changed my mind. The staff were friendly and inclusive, and everything was clean, including the pool and hot tub area, which didn’t have a strong chlorine or chemical smell. It was affordable too. I’d stay here again if I need a night in CU.

The hot tub was the one bright spot, but it didn’t offset the problems. We found a dead bug in the bed, and the room’s TV setup was basic, with no casting despite it being advertised around the bedroom TV. The shower dispensers were empty, and there weren’t any bars or bottles of soap supplied either. That was especially frustrating when my wife ran out of her own soap. A cleaning staff member also came into the room at 9 a.m. while she was changing, even though checkout was at 11. Completely unacceptable. We were there for our anniversary weekend, and the room didn’t look as nice as the advertisement. The $250 deposit seemed excessive and shady. For what we paid, the stay felt cheap, overpriced and impersonal, like hotels are cutting corners and becoming more like fast food. We won’t come back and can’t recommend it.

A clean room and friendly staff made this a decent place to stay. Breakfast was simple but good. I’d recommend it if you want somewhere clean and good.
