The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the stay was quiet. It’s about a 30-minute drive to Telluride, with restaurants and grocery stores nearby, which we knew before booking. Breakfast was adequate, though the coffee supply and utensils, especially spoons, could be better. Housekeeping was the main problem during our 3-night stay. The trash was never emptied, and our towels weren’t replaced, even after we specifically asked the host on duty. A sign said to leave used towels on the floor for fresh ones, but each evening the pile was still there. We also saw big piles of dirty laundry, and staff having trouble finding basics like facial tissues and clean towels. It seemed like a management issue. The towels need updating, and the carpets and bathroom could use more attention to cleanliness. On our last day, Sierra, the host on duty, helped sort out the room service problem, which we appreciated. I hope the hostel puts clearer housekeeping policies in place and improves oversight.

A good spot if all you need is somewhere to crash for the night. The shared bunk rooms are roomy and have lockers, and the bathrooms are clean. Breakfast has a pretty good selection, and there’s a great lounge and gaming room. The location is great too.

The place has a fun, cheerful vibe, and the staff are so upbeat. There are lots of shared spaces, including a cool pool table and a hot tub, plus a really nice complimentary breakfast. It’s super affordable and clean, and the value is crazy good compared with a hotel.

The staff were incredibly friendly. I didn’t have cash for the bus, and one of them gave me a couple of dollars from his own tip jar without hesitation. The common area was cozy, and the other guests were friendly and respectful. The room and bathroom were extremely clean, with fresh, nice bed sheets, and breakfast was free with options to choose from. I booked a 6 person room for 3 nights and would definitely recommend staying here. The hostel is in a fairly remote area. There’s a nearby bus stop that can take you into town, but the schedule is limited. Nothing like a restaurant or store is within walking distance, so if you’re arriving late, plan to stop for supplies first.

Everyone was so welcoming, and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, and the atmosphere felt inviting. After a day out on the town, having the doggies on duty was such a great time. We’ll be back. A+++.
