We came to visit family in the area, and this is our new go-to hotel. The people were wonderful, from Anthony on the night shift, who welcomed me, my elderly Auntie, and my two little boys (quite a crew, LOL!) and was kind throughout, to Jason at the morning desk, who was friendly and helpful, and the maintenance guys too. The main areas were really nice and clean. The pool area was warm, which I loved because I hate cold pools and pool rooms. The kids loved swimming, and the water looked very clean. Breakfast was SO GOOD, with lots of choices, fresh waffles to make yourself, eggs, potatoes, sausage, and even hot oatmeal ready to serve, which I don’t see often but loved. It runs until 10 am, so we didn’t miss it like we often do when it ends at 9. Checkout at noon was great too. It feels like that used to be standard, but now it’s often 11 or even 10. The rooms could use some updates, like new carpet. The fan for the room’s heat and AC was loud in both our room and my Auntie’s, so probably not a one-off, and the desk chairs squeaked a lot, LOL. There’s the usual small hotel fridge but no microwave. I think the hotel was planning major updates in December 2025, so we’ll look forward to those next time. Woodfield Mall and lots of great restaurants are about a three-minute drive away, and Whole Foods is just down the road, which is really handy when traveling with kids. Great stay and our new hotel in Chicagoland!

The breakfast area felt cozy and festive for Christmas, with warm lighting and cute little Santa and reindeer figures on the tables. Breakfast itself was the dependable Hampton Inn standard, with plenty of choices. The room was spotless, though the carpet could use an update, and some outlets felt loose and dated. The built-in USB-A ports are aging now that most devices use USB-C. The location of the Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago/Schaumburg is great, really close to Woodfield Mall and convenient for getting around. The staff went above and beyond, and Jason and Gina were especially friendly and helpful. It was a clean, comfortable, welcoming stay with excellent service. Highly recommend, and we’d stay again.

We felt safe and the hotel was easy to get to. It’s in a location we loved. The pool was huge and clean, and breakfast had tons of choices, all hot and ready. The hotel itself was beautiful and very clean, and the staff were helpful and gave us exactly what we needed.

The only downside for me was the dirty carpet. After sitting or lying down, our socks were black from walking around the room. The rest of our stay was good: the food was hot, tasty, and being tended to, the pool water was just right for swimming in its heated enclosure, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Jason at the front desk was great, very helpful, and an amazing guy all around. From the moment you arrive, everyone makes you feel welcome and like nothing is too much trouble. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and the hotel is conveniently close to restaurants and the local mall. I’d absolutely stay here again.
