Lythia made planning our large event feel easy. She was responsive, thoughtful, and proactive, and her calm, can-do attitude and attention to detail really mattered. Her suggestions were great, including pointing me toward my new favorite décor company, Siblana Events! The event space was beautiful and well organized, and everything went smoothly that night. The whole Hyatt team was wonderful to work with from start to finish. We’re grateful for their support and professionalism, would recommend the venue to anyone planning an event, and look forward to working together again.

The wake-up call arrangement turned into a strange and unhelpful exchange. I had trouble understanding the operator’s strong accent when I called to set it up, so I wasn’t sure she had the right time and called back to confirm. The same staff member answered, saying she’d been listening to the earlier conversation and that “the operator handled it properly and there was nothing to worry about.” She spoke as though she meant someone else, which didn’t reassure me at all. I also found a large booger stuck to the bedsheet when I checked the bed. It was gross and made me question how clean the room was. The cleanliness and service both disappointed me. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The facility was great, and the breakfast bar, bar, and facility map were all pretty good. But the layout was a maze if you didn’t know where you were going. Four others in my group also had some trouble finding their rooms. Maybe I’m just silly, but getting around shouldn’t be that hard.

Cam(?) at reception was extremely helpful and pleasant, a real superstar. I bet she would’ve tried to get us a different mattress if I’d mentioned the problem. The corner room upgrade was nice, too, but the mattress had huge dips where people sleep, and the pillows felt like empty cases, even though I do like soft ones. We didn’t sleep well. Our key cards didn’t work, so we had to drag our bags down from the fourth floor to the front desk. Then snow clearance was a complete failure. After snow the previous day and overnight, loaders and trucks were clearing the back and sides Sunday morning, but the front drive, sidewalks, and area by the entrance were buried. Around 8 AM, a couple dozen flight attendants were waiting in the lobby for shuttle buses, dressed in skirts, pantyhose, and some in heels, and had to walk through a few inches of slippery snow to reach them. We felt awful for them. Nobody had shoveled the front for guests coming or going, and it was still untouched around 8:30 when we left. This might be the kind of mess I’d expect at a Red Roof Inn, but not a Hyatt.
