Radisson Hotel Schaumburg

The shower had great water pressure, and the staff were friendly. I stayed for a week two weeks ago, and the room was clean. On my first day the elevator was out, and the front desk guy offered to carry my very heavy suitcase up to the second floor. I said no, but it was nice of him to offer. The heater unit made too much noise, even when turned off. Still, it was a pleasant stay.

The room was spacious, and the employees were nice and helpful. Free parking and breakfast are included, and there's a 7-Eleven next door. The breakfast was decent, with eggs, meat, and potatoes, though a waffle or pancake machine would've been a nice addition. The main drawback was comfort: the beds weren't great, and animal hair seemed to be all over the floor. It got on my socks, even though I don't have pets at home. It was a good stay for the price, but I wish the beds were more comfortable.

The rooms are a little dated, but the location, convenience, and price would bring me back for our next trip. The front desk attendant was kind and very helpful arranging our park-and-ride shuttle for the flight. The hotel is right off the exit and attached to a very nice restaurant and a 7-Eleven.

There are better hotels in Schaumburg where you'd be treated better, so save your money and stay far away. We turned on the hot tub jets and hair, mold, and other stuff came out. When the manager finally arrived at 9:30 am and we showed her, she accused us of wanting a free stay and laughed at me. I wanted the problem fixed. There was also blood on an accent pillow on the bed. The hotel had lost internet with no sign of it coming back. A real manager would've dealt with that right away. The front desk would only take cash, then refused to print or email a receipt. There's construction inside that blocks the ceiling fire sprinklers, and the proper departments have been notified. The breakfast room is also illegal.
