Staybridge Suites Schererville by IHG

The service is excellent, and the location is convenient, just off of 30 and less than 6 miles from I-65. My only complaint is how thin the walls are. If you’re trying to sleep while someone watches TV in the suite’s living room, you hear it just as clearly as they do.

The room was beautiful and very clean, the breakfast was so good, and having coffee available 24/7 was a huge blessing. We plan to stay at Staybridge next time we’re in town. We were there for our son’s basketball tournament. I’d booked online for the wrong dates, and when we arrived a day early, I didn’t believe the desk clerk until I checked my email and saw my mistake. They were sold out that night, but the clerk tried hard to find us a room and was very kind. We stayed somewhere else and came back the next day. Our room wasn’t ready when we called to ask about getting in a little early, so they upgraded us for free. Everyone was so gracious, even remembered me from the day before, and went out of their way even though I’d made the mistake. I highly recommend it.

I can’t say enough about how clean the hotel is, and the breakfast staff are super great too. The front desk staff are phenomenal. Whenever I stay, I have the pleasure of being met by Jeff, who provides amazing customer service. Whether you’re coming in and out for dinner or returning after a full day at work, it feels like coming home. The house supervisor/manager is also great and makes sure any room issues are fixed right away.

The whole staff is amazing, from check-in through breakfast in the morning to the complimentary dinner served Monday-Wednesday evenings, with beer and wine choices. Angela is especially hospitable, friendly, and warm, someone who belongs in hospitality. I don’t want to take away from any of the other staff by singling her out. This is by far the best hotel in the neighborhood!
