Motel 6 Schiller Park, IL - Chicago O'Hare

Front Desk George (Jorge) was very helpful and understanding, and the room prices were good. Schiller park is a great location for this Motel. The team gave better service than some hotels do. I’d rate it 8/10.

The room was very clean, and check-in was great. The front desk staff were always ready to answer questions and gave good recommendations for food nearby. The security guard made rounds to keep the grounds secure and in good condition, while the cleaning crew were friendly and greeted me. The entire front desk team and general manager deserve an A+ for hospitality and customer service. Everyone helped make my stay wonderful and was attentive to guests’ concerns. If there had been a problem, I’m sure they would have addressed it. The location is convenient, and in my opinion this is the best Motel 6 in the greater Chicagoland area.

I’m giving this place one star now after what used to be a five-star review. I’ve stayed here so many times and never complained about the TVs that only turn out to be broken once you arrive. This time I checked in exhausted at 1am, and, of course, the TV didn’t work. The heater was broken too, so my clothes wouldn’t dry. The front desk lady refused to let me borrow a working heater for 30 minutes to finish drying my only pair of clothes. Usually I’d say I’ll be back tonight, and I would have kept coming. Now...🎁

It was cheap, basic, and fine for a night of sleep before another flight. The room smelled a little musty, but was otherwise reasonably clean and usable. I wouldn’t stay longer than one night. There can be noise from planes overhead, the fans, heating, extractor, and road traffic. But when you pick somewhere right by the airport, what do you expect?
