Lodge at Schroon Lake

The wedding weekend was pure magic. Our guests were impressed by the spotless, beautiful resort and the hospitality, and the grounds crew kept the paths clear so we could enjoy the snowy scenery. The “Fire and Ice” rehearsal dinner was such a fun upgrade, especially the fire dancers and ice bar. The staff made sure we had everything we needed, and the food was incredible. From the start, the whole team treated us like family and made our engagement session and tasting feel special. We’re so happy we chose The Lodge at Schroon Lake. The boat rides were dreamy too. 10,000/10 recommend!

Harley went above and beyond to make my sister’s Bachelorette weekend memorable, and Amanda and Rita at the front desk were so courteous. We brought our family of four and some friends for a weekend away, and the staff were always ready to help. We arrived to incredible cookies, and the amenities were top notch: porches with lovely views, a beautiful pool, spa, fitness center, and a mini golf course my kids couldn’t get enough of. We expected just rooms, but had a space where we could lounge and get comfortable. The Lodge at Schroon Lake had everything we needed and more for fun and relaxation.

For the second year in a row, we held our annual Scientific RNA Institute retreat here, with more than 135 attendees. Over 90% stay overnight, and our trainees get a great chance to present their work and learn about the science happening across the Institute. The rooms and chalets are beautiful and very comfortable, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is amazing. It’s affordable for a group our size, and the staff have been incredible to work with, from sales and our event organizer to the onsite team. They made sure everyone had a fabulous retreat.

There was plenty to do, whether you’re traveling with kids or hoping for a romantic getaway. During our anniversary weekend, we found mini golf, soccer, volleyball, an indoor pool and hot tub, and live music. The pool and hot tub were very clean and never crowded, so we could relax. Later there was a fire, s’mores, and more live music. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the lodge itself was beautiful with lots of activities close by. We ate at Pitkins down the street instead of the restaurant onsite, and it was a 10/10. Highly recommend.
