The little Easter touches made the place feel especially welcoming. Everything was decorated for the holiday, and the manager and front desk team hid eggs each day with candy, small toys, or slips for prizes that didn’t fit inside. Adults and kids could join in, and something so simple made a big difference. The staff were upbeat and offered help even when clearly busy. Erica and Jill kept the breakfast area clean and stocked, and the food was delicious. I usually skip hotel breakfast, but with limited food options nearby I gave it a try and was glad I did. The room was spacious and clean, and a shout-out to Sandy for keeping it that way. I was unsure about the remote location at first, but the friendly receptionist made check-in quick and easy, and I soon felt I’d chosen well. I’d happily stay again when passing through, and recommend it 10/10.

Wendy keeps the hotel clean, and Nicole got the pool running again. I also wish there were more support on the second shift, with someone keeping an eye on the pool for safety and helping guests, as well as taking care of any laundry left for the next day. We’re planning to return in a few weeks and hope our comments have been considered. Our stay over Valentine’s Day weekend was much better than the previous one. Back then, staff complained constantly, spoke negatively about each other, and used inappropriate language, so we were hesitant to try again. The new staff member with darker red hair made the difference. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name, but she handled a crowd kindly and diligently, and my family and friends appreciated it. She brought towels to our room when we asked, made sure our key worked, answered the phone, and handled breakfast duties on her own. Even though they were short staffed, everyone seemed happier and less stressed. The old manager’s departure seems to have been a good change. Wendy and Nicole are both outstanding too.

I’ve stayed here many times when visiting Knoebels, but after this billing mess we’ll probably choose somewhere else next time. The stay itself was great, but they charged my card three times for the same three nights, which overdrew my bank account. The general manager had to fix it and didn’t apologize.

The rooms were clean and nice, though nothing special. What stood out was the service: the manager made check-in easy even though I arrived early, and Sally, the breakfast hostess, was warm and friendly. She made sure everyone had enough to eat, which made breakfast a good experience. The location is convenient but feels tucked away, surrounded by industrial sites that are closed and up for sale.
