The staff made our weekend easy and relaxing. They had a professional but laid-back manner and handled our large group really well. The El Dorado is also right by the restaurants, bars, clubs, and shops in Old Town Scottsdale, and the pool is a nice spot to have a beer and watch the game. If you're after one of Scottsdale's huge resorts, this isn't it. For a comfortable place to unwind with friends, though, The El Dorado worked great. I'd stay there again.

Just know this isn't an upscale chain hotel. You can see the wear around the property, and it could use a renovation, but our place was clean and well appointed, and the staff were great. The pool area is gorgeous, the price suited our group, and downtown Scottsdale was close by. We had a blast in the big three-bedroom casita, especially with its own parking spaces. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home, and housekeeping was both pleasant and really efficient. Phil the peacock is there too, though he's supposed to be leaving the resort soon, so go soon if you'd like to see him.

For the price, this place is hard to beat. The rooms are huge and work for kids or adults, and the staff are awesome. I love that it has character, plus a peacock living on the property. Scottsdale needed a place like this because the resorts feel so played out. It's where I'd rather stay.

Leo and the whole team made our stay so good. There are several beautiful room options, each with its own interior style, and ours had a full kitchen, living room, and dining area. That would be handy for a longer stay, though we were just there for a staycation. The courtyard is gorgeous, with big cabanas around the pool. Phil, their lovely peacock mascot, wanders around there too. Thanks for such a great time!

The staff kept making my stay comfortable and relaxing, with attention that impressed me right through checkout. I spent three days here, and it was one of the most relaxing places I've stayed in Scottsdale.
