Marriott Suites Scottsdale Old Town

Cassandra, or Cassie, was a real pro at the front desk. She overheard that my son had a big bug bite and promptly brought out first aid supplies. Jose was setting up the pool for an early swim when we arrived, and was so sweet and engaging with our son, who has special needs. The whole staff was excellent, the facilities were clean, and the pool was great. It’s in a good location too. We’d definitely return.

We booked a two-room suite for a quick weekend away, and at $200 it was very reasonably priced. The front desk team was friendly and helpful. The layout made getting to the bathroom and closet a little awkward, but there was enough room for four adults to hang out in the living area. Old Town shops and restaurants are walkable, and the pool area is large and nice. Five stars for a three-star hotel.

Third Avenue Grill had a good range of food to suit us, and our server Ro was personable and a pleasure. The location is great, and the staff were very helpful.

Our family had a great stay while a family member attended a conference at the hotel. The room accommodated four, housekeeping checked every day to see if we wanted service, and the employees were very nice. We had a little balcony where we could hear the neighbors yelling, lol. The kids loved the fitness center, and there are places to eat, bus stops, and Fashion Square Mall within walking distance. The self-service laundry was complimentary, though every time I checked, the machines were full. The garage was easy to access and we used it when the accessible spaces were taken. Most of the cars in those spots didn’t have a disability placard, though we did. They should prioritize disabled drivers, since someone might not be able to walk farther down into the garage.
