Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the beds were nice with well-equipped bathrooms. But as a Silver member who has stayed at several Fairmont locations, I found this stay mediocre. We were put in the “I” building, in a remote corner of the resort, and I expected a better room option with Silver status. Everything was a trek. We drove, so we skipped valet and parked ourselves to be closer to the room. We’d booked a balcony to enjoy the views, but our room was far from the main facility and had no real view. Seated, we could only see a wall, and beyond that the driveway and parking lot. If you’re offered room 2429, I’d ask for another option.

The meals were superb, especially the fillet I had at the Toro, one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The spa massage with Darcy was just as memorable. I’ve had numerous massages, and she’s one of the best therapists I’ve encountered. She was a 12. If she’s available, I highly recommend requesting her. From check-in onward, the whole stay was stellar. Elle gave us a genuine, heartfelt welcome, and every staff member helped us enjoy our time on the property. It was a true 5-star experience. If you’re after a getaway, this unique place is worth checking out. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Everything was perfect from stepping off the shuttle to being dropped back off. The room was great, the concierge came through every time, and the Gold Lounge was next level, so inviting and relaxing. I had such a lovely, pampered time and really hope to come back soon. My only complaint is that I couldn’t stay longer!

I had an amazing birthday stay at the Princess. The resort is stunning, the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming the whole time. Pools and Spa were 10/10. Lauren at the front desk is an angel. They made my stay so special, and I’ll definitely be back!
