Hotel Bixby Scottsdale, BW Signature Collection

This place has been a real blessing for my family and me as we move to Phoenix for my new job. It feels more like an apartment community, and my kid has made friends with other children who live here. It’s nice seeing him play around the hotel. The property feels clean and safe, and the staff take care of it and greet you by name every time. I’ll stay here until I find a home in Phoenix. Thank you!

It’s so clean and quiet that it barely feels like a hotel, more like living in a studio or apartment. You get a full kitchen and shower, cabinets and drawers, cable with hundreds of channels including HBO, and free Wi-Fi. It’s near convenience stores, gas stations, restaurants, fast food, and grocery stores, and the price is amazing. I can’t believe I’d never heard of it. It almost feels like a well-kept secret!

Not a bad hotel, honestly. The weekly rates are fair, and the front desk was really helpful. It’s pet-friendly, which works well for our dog. They’re strict about no smoking or marijuana on the property, which kind of sucks, but it works out. 4/5.

The front desk clerks were great when I checked in. But as soon as I entered the room, the stale smoke smell made it clear why it was so cheap. The brown wood floors hide dirt and animal hair pretty well. I checked the AC filters and found what looked like enough dog hair to make it seem as if the previous five tenants’ dogs had slept in front of the unit. There’s a hole in the wall, and the bathroom sink drains so slowly it could overflow. I’m curious to see how the next two weeks here go.
