Senna House Hotel Scottsdale, Curio Collection by Hilton

My wife and I came to phoenix to celebrate my birthday, and from the minute we arrived, everyone made us feel like family. Opie was especially great. He always greeted us with a smile and had some of the best suggestions for places to go around the city. We loved this hotel and will definitely be back.

The housekeeping staff were lovely, kind, and professional, and they made a real difference for us. The hotel itself was noisy on weekends, though. My room faced a parking area below it, which may not belong to the property. People gathered there at night, drinking and playing loud music from their cars right under the hotel. I didn’t see any security presence or intervention, and it was hard to sleep. This seems better suited to people coming for nightlife than anyone wanting a quiet stay. Breakfast was another big disappointment. One guest waited nearly an hour, and several orders were wrong. Most plates didn’t match what people had ordered, but the staff insisted they were right instead of apologizing and fixing them. The waitress blamed guests rather than taking responsibility, and her attitude was unacceptable. The chairs look nice but are very uncomfortable, with a hard wooden bar pressing into the middle of your back. Service at night wasn’t helpful either. The night receptionist seemed casual and disengaged, and requests weren’t handled in a service-minded way.

Senna House has a cozy boutique feel that made me feel at home right away. I loved the design, the pet-friendly policy, and the stunning rooftop pool. There’s also a signature scent throughout the hotel that gives it a unique, luxurious touch. The rooms were clean, crisp, and well maintained. From the valet welcoming you at the entrance to the smooth check-in, the service was exceptional. Truly an amazing stay from beginning to end. Highly recommend!

The beds were cozy, and the housekeeping team kept the whole place spotless and the rooms comfortable. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained, with a warm, welcoming feel. I really enjoyed my stay. It can get a little noisy at night because the property is close to the bar area and you can hear music, but the excellent service more than made up for it. I mostly used Uber, so I didn’t interact much with the valet team, but they were courteous and always ready to open the door or help with luggage. There’s a restaurant on site, though I didn’t get a chance to try it.
