The REMI., Scottsdale, Autograph Collection Hotel

The common areas feel warm and stylish. The terrace is beautiful, and I loved the diner on level 1. The evening lighting gives the place a sophisticated nighttime feel, and there's a sound machine to help drown out nightlife noise. Even the fresh hotel scent is pleasant without being overpowering. As a designer, I'm pretty picky, but the designers really nailed it. The location is central, service is great, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are very well done. Kudos to everyone involved. We'll be back.

We especially enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar, with stunning sunset views. It was a couples getaway without our kids, and the hotel suited it perfectly. The place feels high-end, with sophisticated design. My wife described it as modern and chic without being tacky. The lobby gathering spots and rooftop seating around the pool and adjacent bar all feel purposeful and well thought out. The rooms are nicely designed too. They're perhaps a bit small in square footage, but the layout and functional details keep them from feeling that way. It's a great new hotel, I think from July 2025, and ideally located for exploring Old Town. Bonvoy Platinum members and above get breakfast included at the diner restaurant, with one main, side, and beverage per person from an expensive menu. There's a $50/night activity fee, which I don't love. They did include free ebike rentals, a $25 F&B credit per night, and two free drinks in the lobby bar each night. Those do add value and cover the fee, if not more. Valet parking is steep at $50 per night. The hotel punches way above its weight, and the value proposition is great.

This is a fun, trendy hotel in the heart of downtown Scottsdale, with top-notch food and service that's second to none. The staff take pride in looking after guests. Even when small hiccups come up, they do what they can to address them and make sure we're comfortable. Brian at the front desk went above and beyond, advising us on things to check out and activities at the hotel. Pool manager connnor was welcoming too, and set up a cabana for us when we needed one. Highly recommend.

The rooftop pool is a great place to relax in the sun, and the food options are excellent, from an upscale Japanese steakhouse to a cozy American diner for breakfast. E-bikes are available for exploring the area, and downtown Scottsdale is right nearby, with nightlife and attractions a pleasant stroll away. From the moment we entered the breathtaking lobby, the staff were warm, attentive, and committed to making the stay special. Hayden and the whole team deserve a big thank you for making it unforgettable. This new Marriott in Downtown Scottsdale earns a 10 out of 10. We're already counting the days until we can return.
