Executive Inn

I wanted to leave without staying, and I didn’t even ask for my money back. The bed was worse than the already nasty room: no pillowcases, a dirty bedspread with cigarette burns, and underneath it, dirty sheets marked with what looked like grease and loose hair. The person at check-in was rude and spoke broken English, and I wasn’t up for dealing with him. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever been to, and paying $90 for that kind of comfort was disgusting. I never want to give Executive Inn another chance. I don’t usually write reviews, but this needed to be said. I didn’t want to give even one star, but the form wouldn’t let me skip it.

The smoke alarms aren’t connected to 120V, and there aren’t batteries in them either. That made me feel at risk staying here. The online listing showed a king bed and a couch, but there was just a chair, so we had to switch to two queen beds because our son couldn’t sleep in the little chair. They charged us another $20 for the upgrade. The sign says free HBO, but there were only about 20 channels. It also promises free breakfast, yet there wasn’t even coffee or a coffee pot in the room. The pillows were flat, with only two per bed, the blanket felt like a curtain, and the sheets had cigarette holes. It was very uncomfortable. I’ll pay extra to stay at a top hotel that doesn’t lie.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the rooms and service were decent. It was generally clean, and the pool was open.

A family friend stayed here during the snowstorm and had no heat. They gave her a heater, but it kept tripping the breaker, so she was cold all night. He offered her a refund, then cussed her out when she asked for it. There are bugs, too. This place is awful. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
