There were broken light fixtures in the rooms, along with other problems, and the front desk staff weren’t friendly. After I spent five minutes in a room I’d decided to rent, they told me not to come back. I’ve found dead bed bugs under fitted sheets, as well as needles and crack pipes. This place might suit someone looking to rent by the hour who doesn’t care about the surroundings. I wouldn’t recommend the business to anyone.

I spent money here and felt it was wasted. The bed cover wasn’t suitable for an American hotel, the towels weren’t even good enough for home, and the coffee maker didn’t work at all. The internet was extremely slow and mostly disconnected. On the third night I couldn’t sleep because of bed bugs, and the heating system was so noisy I couldn’t sleep either. There are some positives: the budget inn had clean rooms, a continental breakfast, and good parking. Still, please do yourself a favor and sleep on the street.

I couldn’t bring myself to sleep in the bed or shower, so I asked for a refund. I’d stripped the bed to check that it was clean, and they tried to charge me a cleaning fee. The staff member wasn’t very nice. At check-in, the motel looked cheap, outdated, and dirty. It took a little longer than expected to check in, though it wasn’t too bad, so I gave it a chance. Then I got to the room and found 5-6 hairs on the sheets, holes in the walls, stains in the shower, and a generally dated room. It was too expensive for what you get. Think twice before booking. Disgusting!

I took a chance on this inexpensive motel because I’d come to Scranton by bus and was getting around on foot. It worked out well for me. The room was clean and the area around it was quiet, the heat was more than enough, and both the bed and chairs were comfortable. I could’ve paid three times as much and not done any better. Other guests can speak for themselves, but I had a positive experience.
